On the First Beat episode8.

things start to get a little more interesting now. the first episodes were mostly made to introduce us to the yuen family (sonjia's and kenny's family) and also michael tao. now, we are ready for some drama.



the story started off from where it ended the last ep, which was when kate was almost going to get knocked over by a car.





ron came to her rescue which then made kate develop feelings for him. ron, of course, rejected her and the reason was that she didnt do anything significant in her life. so kate is off to find something that is significant to do.





she discussed the matter with joey before she saw this ad for recruitment for police.


on the michael sammul ron side, the story continues. ron finally understands that what michael is doing is for their sake but not for sammul.


kenny and kate are both trying for PTS.



one of the interview for PTS required a parent to come along. and kenny's dad tried very hard to convince the policeman that his son is made to become a police. so he told the policeman that his son's english name was 'police' cos he hoped to become one.



of course the two of them got through all the tests and are accepted into PTS. the morning before kate was off to PTS, she planted a kiss on ron so that he could remember her.



tada. the new batch of RPCs. u noe in the academy before they could enter michael miu's rm they would have to declare who they are. and ron ng would always say 'RPC66336 wants to see u'. but somehow it would always sound like 'R-lok Pi See lok lok san san lok wants to see u' and i always dun get wat is R6PC66336.



something i jus realised this ep. so they are father and son. the lengendary father and brother of bong-siu whom they kept talking abt in 'the academy'. ohhhh..

On the First Beat Ep2.

yau ma tei.. er. i jus noe there's a dim sum restaurant there. hahaahahha. and the people cant speak anything other than cantonese.


some more of my favourite ka-la-feis from part1. bong-siu and ah lam. i still remember the episode where all the girls in A class tries to doll up ah lam so that she would look more womanly. hahahaha. she really looked quite hideous then. and th second picture would be that over achiever from B class.


they look extremely strange in their uniforms. esp when it's no longer the dirty green one.


seeing them tgt reminds me of the rumor some time ago that they said that sammulchan is gay and likes ron ng and somemore fights with another girl for ron. hahahaha. and also that they took a picture of him holding a ds lite and thus concluded he was girly becos ds lite was a 少女圣物 or something like that. haha. seriously lah. sammulchan is jus 宅. he looks okay from outside but inside he's jus 宅 lah. that's why he talks in a certain way which people perceive as gay.


urgh. i hate michael tao's character.


pak kiu didnt have time to go to ocean park with fiona so he brought her to a fish shop.


wah. his teeth are as bad as mine.


hey. it's 大志!!


even with a policeman uniform, he still looks like a pilot to me.

On the First Beat Ep1.

the story continues from the academy after pak kiu(sammul chan) and ah man(ron ng) graduated from the Police Training School(or more commonly as 'PTS' in the show). They are now policemen and are both stationed to the yau ma tei station.

on the first beat is definitely a very very differently kind of show to academy. the story continues from the academy and pak kiu and ah man has already graduated from PTS. the academy was like a 温馨小品 and on the first beat tries too hard to act like a blockbuster. some caps. (okay lah. after finishing ep2 i take back my words. on the first beat is as good. hahahaha. ep2 was damn shiok to watch. and that lee pak kiu is really the centre of broom, everyone around him is dying.)



the opeing is already very much different.




mr ron ng. he still cant really act. hais.

my favourite ka-la-feis as always. they too graduated from PTS.


the all time favourite child actors.


better catch more scenes of the 2 ladies becos they wont be here for long.


new job new requirements.


pak kiu. i guess he wouldnt have much storyline since he's now demoted to the supporting role.

maybe a treat for those TaRo fans who couldnt get enough of them in part1.


isnt he a policeman? is he an undercover?


urgh. he looks so irritating. hahahaha.

a point to note. this is this bad guy in ep1 who appeared less than 3seconds. but doesnt he look like this guy from ah seng/pi li huo/anything in that series? hahahahaha. 黄仲昆 or something like that.
